Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Consultant in a hybrid setup across Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, and Auckland. You will lead the delivery of large-scale data platform and BI solutions, designing robust data architectures and engaging closely with client stakeholders and internal teams.

The role requires strong expertise in data modelling, Snowflake/Databricks, and Power BI, with a focus on AI-assisted data migration and modernisation projects. NZ citizens/residents preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years in EDW design, ETL, and data modelling.
Proficiency with Snowflake or Databricks and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical delivery of large-scale data platform and BI solutions.
Design and deliver robust data platforms and insight solutions.
Engage with client stakeholders and internal teams.
Architect data models across domains.
Deploy AI solutions for data migration and warehousing.
Tune performance and optimize data platforms.
Document tech details and provide knowledge transfer.
