Job summary

Datacom invites a Senior Consultant to lead the delivery of large-scale data platforms and BI solutions, working closely with client stakeholders and internal teams. You will design, implement and own the delivery of robust data platforms and insights, including AI-driven data migration and modernisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Snowpro and Coalesce certified or Microsoft Azure/Fabric certified data engineer.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in EDW design and implementation.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in ETL architecting and design.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in data modelling (Star schema & Snowflake schema).
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in semantic layer development.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in Power BI

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of large-scale data platform and BI solutions.
• Design and own delivery of robust Data Platform and Insight solutions.
• Engage with client stakeholders and internal teams; communicate clearly across levels.
• Design data models (relational and dimensional) across domains.
• Design and deploy AI solutions for data migration and warehousing migrations.
• Perform performance tuning and optimisation of data platforms.
• Manage development lifecycles with CI/CD and Git integration.
• Develop self-service solutions using Power BI with diverse deployment options.
• Provide technical documentation and end-user training.
