Job summary

Chubb Life NZ seeks a senior CX/UX leader to drive customer experiences across websites, portals and online forms. You’ll map journeys, create personas, design wireframes and prototypes, and coach a design team while maturing our design system.

Reporting to the Head of Digital and Design, you’ll explore AI tools for design where appropriate and build playbooks for a hybrid Auckland or Wellington team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in CX, UX, digital experience or product design.
• Proven track record leading journeys end to end across web, portal or app.
• Confidence running workshops and discovery with stakeholders.
• Strong research, prototyping and usability testing skills.
• Hands on Figma design system experience and a good grasp of accessibility.
• Ability to explain design decisions to business and tech people.

Responsibilities

• Leading CX and UX design on our priority digital journeys.
• Running journey workshops with the business to find pain points.
• Building journey maps, personas and service blueprints.
• Designing wireframes and prototypes, then testing them with customers.
• Building the Figma design system and the team's design playbook.
• Coaching designers and finding practical uses for AI in design.
