Job summary
Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand is seeking a senior CX/UX leader to shape the way customers apply for cover, interact with portals, and service journeys. You’ll oversee design across websites, forms and applications, set standards, and build a maturing design system and playbook.
Location: Auckland or Wellington; hybrid work and a permanent full-time role. You’ll run workshops, mentor designers, and explore where AI tools like Claude Code can enhance design work, while ensuring accessibility
Qualifications
- 7+ years in CX, UX, digital experience or product design.
- Track record leading journeys end to end across web, portal or app.
- Confidence running workshops and discovery with stakeholders.
- Strong research, prototyping and usability testing skills.
- Hands on Figma design system experience and accessibility knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Leading CX and UX design on our priority digital journeys.
- Running journey workshops with the business to find pain points.
- Building journey maps, personas and service blueprints.
- Designing wireframes and prototypes, then testing them with customers.
- Building the Figma design system and the team's design playbook.
- Coaching designers and exploring AI in design.
