Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, building IaC and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.

You will monitor performance, enhance security, and collaborate with distributed teams to ensure high availability and cost efficiency while supporting a range of cutting-edge SaaS products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and operations.
• Extensive experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Solid knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring principles in a cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote team.
• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus.
