Placements24 is assisting a fast-growing SaaS company in finding a Senior Backend Engineer for their fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices, working across Go, Python, Java, or Node.js to shape the platform's architecture in a distributed environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement RESTful APIs and gRPC, manage databases (SQL/NoSQL), and own CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of backend development for scalable systems.
• Proficient in one or more backend languages (Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
• Strong knowledge of microservices, databases, and cloud/containerization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance microservices using languages such as Go, Python, Java, or Node.js.


• Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs and gRPC services.


• Work with various database technologies, including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Requirements
