Placements24 is seeking an entry‑level Cloud Engineer to join a remote‑first, cloud-focused team in New Zealand. The ideal candidate has a foundation in IT infrastructure and cloud concepts, with exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP, scripting, and IaC.

You will help design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud environments, work collaboratively across development and operations, and grow through ongoing training and certifications in a supportive, innovative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related technical field.
• Foundational cloud computing concepts across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Basic OS (Linux/Windows) and networking knowledge.
• Scripting familiarity with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, and remote teamwork ability.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner) are desirable.
