Job summary

Archway Recruitment in Christchurch is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil design and project delivery across land development, three waters, and infrastructure projects nationwide.

You will deliver Civil 3D modelling, calculations, drawings and reports, oversee construction monitoring and contract administration, and collaborate with clients, councils and contractors to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in civil engineering (land development and three waters projects in NZ).
• Strong NZ design skills, excellent communication, and the ability to operate independently with complex civil engineering design work.
• A motivated, positive team approach across projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil design work in Civil 3D with advanced modelling skills.
• Prepare high‑quality calculations, drawings, and reports.
• Deliver construction monitoring and contract administration across varied land development sites.
• Work directly with clients, councils, contractors, and community stakeholders.
