Job summary

Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Core Ledger Replacement programme in Auckland or Wellington. The role focuses on shaping and delivering solutions within an Agile product team, managing backlog, requirements, and cross-functional collaboration across groups to modernise BNZ's lending technology through a multi-year transformation.

• Strong requirements elicitation, process analysis and documentation skills.
• Ability to analyse complex information, identify dependencies and impacts.
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, data flows and related platforms.
• Experience in Agile delivery teams and full delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile product team to shape and deliver BNZ Core Ledger Replacement features.
• Manage backlog: collate, assess, size features, ensure linkages and outcomes are clear.
• Support prioritisation and delivery of enhancements and bug fixes to implementation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and working groups; prepare supporting materials for customers/internal teams.
• Lead risk, dependency and change assessments and shape mitigation strategies.
