BNZ is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Core Ledger Replacement program in a hybrid role based in Wellington or Auckland. You will help modernise lending technology and work within an Agile product team to shape and deliver solutions as part of a multi-year transformation through Oct 2028.

You will manage backlog, perform analysis, and engage with stakeholders to define scope, dependencies, and outcomes while ensuring proper risk and change governance across the SDLC.

This includes:* Manage backlog in terms of collation, assessment and sizing to ensure the functional aspects of a feature or service are well understood and the linkages, dependencies & outcomes are all effectively catered for with no unexpected consequences across the business.* Use your exceptional research, data analysis & decision-making skills to assist in prioritisation and delivery of a wide range of enhancements and bug fixes through to implementation.* Work across functional stakeholders including engagement at working groups to tease out details, assist scoping support functions & supporting materials for customers/internal service suppliers.* Manage artefacts as per standard BNZ processes throughout the SDLC.* Manage Risk and Change by leading cross-system risk, dependency, and change impact assessments.
