Job summary

Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Customer Identity and Access Management team in Auckland. You will lead discovery, translate goals into testable requirements, and collaborate with product, engineering and operations to deliver secure, user-friendly identity solutions.

You will facilitate workshops, manage risks, maintain traceability in Jira and Confluence, and mentor junior analysts while strengthening BA practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading analysis across complex technology initiatives.
• Strong requirements, scope, backlog and traceability practices.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery and software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery with stakeholders, customers and delivery teams to frame problems and evaluate options.
• Translate goals into testable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules.
• Maintain clear artefacts in Jira and Confluence and mentor analysts.
