Job summary

This 6-month contract Senior Business Analyst sits within a large digital delivery function in Auckland, focusing on leading complex analysis initiatives of strategic importance. You will work with senior leaders, SMEs, architects, and delivery teams to translate business drivers into actionable requirements.

You will provide leadership within the Business Analysis function and ensure high-quality documentation using Jira, Confluence, and process modelling tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business analysis experience, including senior or lead roles.
• Strong expertise in requirements management, process modelling, and visual analysis.
• Proven experience working in Agile, cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent stakeholder facilitation and executive-level communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis for priority digital initiatives with tight timeframes.
• Facilitate workshops to elicit, prioritise, and validate business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and process models.
• Engage senior stakeholders to align solutions with agreed outcomes.
• Provide coaching and guidance to Business Analysts as required.

About the Role
