Job summary

Momentum Consulting in Auckland is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale desktop modernisation programme across the Auckland region. The role involves hands-on engagement with users across sites to assess device usage and readiness for Windows 11 upgrades.

You will audit devices, capture findings, identify risks and work with programme stakeholders to plan upgrade activities, while roaming between sites in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Previous Business Analyst experience within technology, infrastructure or transformation projects.
• Experience supporting Windows migrations or desktop/device upgrade programmes
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to understand workflows and translate what you see and hear into clear requirements, risks and actions.
• Confidence working directly with frontline users and technical teams.
• Practical, organised approach and willingness to work across multiple sites.

We are on the hunt for an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale desktop modernisation programme across the Auckland region.

About the role

Working within a busy complex environment, you'll support the assessment and readiness of devices and workspaces ahead of a Windows 11 upgrade.

This is a hands-on BA role that will see you spending time across different sites, speaking directly with users to understand how devices are used, identify potential risks and ensure upgrade requirements are clearly understood.

You'll be responsible for:
