Fluid Recruitment is assisting a well-established Christchurch law firm seeking a Senior Immigration Lawyer with strong NZ immigration law expertise. The role covers employer-sponsored and private client matters, visa applications, residency work, and advising on immigration requirements.

You will contribute to a growing practice with succession opportunities, a diverse workload, and potential to expand into employment law. Excellent client management and practical advisory skills are essential.

Formación

• At least 7 PQE working in New Zealand immigration law.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of immigration matters.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• A commercial and practical approach to providing legal advice.

Responsabilidades

• Advise on employer-sponsored and private client immigration matters.
• Prepare visa applications and residency matters for diverse clients.
• Advise employers and individuals on immigration requirements with pragmatic, commercial guidance.
• Support succession and growth within the practice and contribute to business development.

The Opportunity
The role will provide a balanced mix of employer and private client immigration work, giving you exposure to a broad range of matters and clients.
You will have the opportunity to work across areas including:

• Employer-sponsored and corporate immigration matters
• Private client and family-based immigration
• Visa applications and residency matters
• Advising employers and individuals on immigration requirements
• The opportunity to assist with related employment law matters, should this be an area you are interested in developing
