Fluid Recruitment is supporting a Tauranga-based firm seeking a Senior Solicitor or Associate with 5+ years' PQE to join their team. The role suits someone confident working independently, building strong client relationships and stepping into greater responsibility.

The team handles civil and commercial litigation, family and employment law, offering a broad mix of matters and opportunities to specialise. Mentoring junior lawyers and ownership of your matters are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE across Family, Civil Litigation and/or Employment Law.
• Ability to work with a good level of autonomy and take ownership of matters.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers is a plus.

We are pleased to be working with a small-mid sized Tauranga firm who are looking for a Senior Solicitor or Associate with 5+ years' PQE to join the team. The role would suit someone who is confident working independently, enjoys building strong client relationships and is ready to take on a greater level of responsibility.

About the opportunity

The team works across a range of matters, including civil and commercial litigation, family law and employment law. With a steady flow of matters coming through the firm, the role offers a broad and varied mix of work, with scope to lean more heavily into particular areas depending on your experience and interests.

You’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of your own matters and manage client relationships, while still operating as part of a wider team. There will also be an opportunity to supervise and mentor junior lawyers, providing guidance and support as they continue to develop.

About you

You’ll have 5+ years' PQE and experience across one or more of Family, Civil Litigation and/or Employment Law.

You’ll also bring:
