Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer to maintain the stability, resilience and performance of the TLM and RecOps platforms. You will work with operational teams, technology stakeholders and vendors to resolve complex issues and drive operational excellence.

The role requires extensive experience in application/support or systems engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Application Support, Platform Support or Systems Engineering roles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications across cloud, SaaS and on-premises environments.
• A strong understanding of operational support practices, including incident, problem and change management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the stability, resilience and performance of the Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) and RecOps platforms.
• Partner with operational teams, technology stakeholders and vendors to resolve complex issues and drive operational excellence.
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation and simplification.
