Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders, spanning portfolio performance, ECL and RWA. As a Senior Risk Analyst within our Portfolio Insights team, you’ll help shape how Westpac understands and manages credit risk by transforming complex data into meaningful insights for senior leaders. Working across areas such as portfolio performance, Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), you’ll uncover trends, solve complex problems and provide recommendations that support key business decisions. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys diving deep into data, asking thoughtful questions and connecting the dots to tell a compelling story. You’ll lead complex analytical work, partner with stakeholders across Risk, Finance and the wider business, and contribute to continuous improvements that strengthen the quality, efficiency and impact of our reporting and insights. You’ll be joining a close-knit and supportive team that values collaboration, curiosity and learning.
