Security Officer Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital is a permanent, full-time role (80 hours per fortnight). You will keep hospital staff, patients and visitors safe, conducting patrols, CCTV monitoring and incident reporting to support emergency responses across the campus.

As a Security Officer with Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui, you will play a critical role in keeping our hospitals, staff, patients and visitors safe. You will ensure our facilities remain secure, respond to incidents promptly and professionally, and maintain a visible presence that supports safety across all areas of the hospital campus.

Youll be part of the Security Services team based across Hawkes Bay health facilities. The team works around the clock to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and whānau.
Security Officers work closely with the Call Centre, Duty Managers, Facilities staff, clinical teams and external partners such as Police, Fire and emergency responders. The team operates with professionalism, strong communication and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, equity and respectful engagement with all members of the community.
