Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Richmond is seeking a Patient Support & Security Worker (Casual) to join the Older Persons Mental Health Admission Unit at Alexandra Hospital. You will help provide a welcoming, safe environment for patients and whānau, working with the nursing team to meet care needs.
Flexibility is essential to cover afternoons, nights, and weekends; training will be provided, and prior security or health care experience is helpful but not required.

As a PatientSupport & Security Worker, you willensure that we continue to provide a welcoming and safe environment forthe Older Persons Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Alexandra Hospital.. Youwill be working alongside our dedicated nursing team to best meet the needs ofpatients and their whānau accessing our services.
This is a causal position on an asrequired basis with availability to work afternoons, nights and weekendsessential. There is no on call required although the ability to be called in atshort notice would be an advantage.

As a PatientSupport & Security Worker, you will be:
Previous experience in security, healthcare, or a related industry is preferred. However, this is not essential astraining will be provided.
