Job summary

Mr Apple is seeking a compassionate RSE Pastoral Care Coordinator to support the wellbeing of Recognised Seasonal Employees across Hastings sites during the peak apple season. This fixed-term role runs mid-October to mid-May with potential early starts and some after-hours work.

You will work with Pastoral Care Coordinators to provide duty of care for up to 350 team members, focusing on physical, mental and cultural wellbeing and safe accommodation in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and relationship-focused approach to wellbeing.
• Experience leading or supporting people in care, education, or team environments.
• Able to communicate across cultures and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide duty of care for up to 350 RSE team members across three sites.
• Carry out welfare checks and provide day-to-day pastoral support.
• Support medical appointments and general wellbeing needs.
• Oversee accommodation inspections and day-to-day supplies.
• Run meetings to set expectations and gather feedback.
• Support inductions and help RSE team settle into life in New Zealand.
