Job summary

KiwiQuest Ltd. is seeking a seasonal Cleaning & Housekeeping lead to manage an on-site accommodation facility and campsite during the Central Otago cherry harvest. You will keep operations safe, clean and organised, and coordinate guest arrivals and departures.

The role requires a practical, organised, reliable and people-focused approach, plus a full NZ driver licence and the ability to work independently. Expect 6–8 weeks, with possible extension and weekend/after-hours work.

Qualifications

• Full New Zealand driver licence.
• Practical, organised, reliable and people-focused approach.
• Clear communication with people from different backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and enforce site rules respectfully.
• Cleaning, hygiene and health and safety capability.
• Basic technology skills for communication and record keeping.
• Availability for most of the harvest period, including weekends and occasional after-hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation and presentation of the accommodation facility and campsite.
• Coordinate occupant arrivals and departures and maintain accurate records.
• Complete cleaning and maintain hygiene and presentation standards.
• Monitor facilities and coordinate maintenance, tradespeople and contractors.
• Conduct site inductions and communicate rules and expectations.
• Support health and safety, emergency procedures and occupant requests.
• Resolve problems calmly and report operational issues to Orchard Management.
