Job summary

Mr Apple is seeking a compassionate RSE Pastoral Care Coordinator in New Zealand to support the wellbeing of up to 350 Pacific team members across Hastings sites during peak apple season. The fixed-term role runs from mid-October to mid-May, with early starts, split shifts and after-hours support as required.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, empathetic and relationship-focused approach.
• Strong communication and cultural sensitivity.
• Experience leading, supervising or supporting people in care or similar roles.
• Ability to build trust with team leaders and team members.
• Discretion and good judgment when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with team leaders and RSE team members.
• Carry out welfare checks and provide day-to-day pastoral support.
• Support team members with medical appointments and general wellbeing needs.
• Complete accommodation inspections and help oversee day-to-day supplies across sites.
• Run meetings to set expectations, gather feedback and provide support.
• Support inductions and help our RSE team settle into life and work in New Zealand.
