Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Wellington seeks a dynamic Sea Logistics Business Development Manager to drive new business in New Zealand. You will identify prospects, conduct discovery calls, and build lasting relationships with customers to deliver sales targets.

Collaborate with internal teams to create end-to-end sea logistics solutions and compelling proposals. Join a national team of experienced sales professionals and contribute to market growth, margin expansion, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of international freight processes, especially Sea Logistics
• Proven track record in solutions sales and new business growth
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Identify new business prospects and conduct discovery calls
• Meet with prospects online or in person to build relationships
• Develop and convert a robust pipeline to meet sales targets and KPIs
• Provide quotations and collaborate with Revenue Manager on pricing
• Coordinate with implementation and customer care teams to onboard new business
• Monitor booked, shipped and invoiced volumes and share insights with the team
• Share best practices with Sea Logistics Sales community
