Job summary

Kuehne + Nagel is seeking a Sea Logistics Pricing Specialist based in Tauranga, New Zealand. You will produce quotes for Cooltainer customers, procure carrier rates, and liaise across regions to maximise profitability while maintaining tariffs and data accuracy.

Role requires strong commercial judgement, time management, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

Experience with international shipping and freight processes.
Understanding of core trade lanes NZ, Australia, Deep Sea/International.
Knowledge of commercial and financial margin expectations.
Ability to prioritise under pressure and manage a busy workload.
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Produce quotes for Cooltainer customers, mainly Australia to New Zealand, Australia Deep Sea Imports & Exports.
Procure rates from carriers in Australia & New Zealand.
Liaise with Europe to procure routes to Australia/New Zealand.
Manage profitability of freight shipments and maintain tariffs.
Set budgets with Commercial Manager and review monthly performance.
Ensure weekly carrier capacity and produce monthly reports for senior management.
Meet with customers and approve invoices.
