Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a SAP Finance & Integration specialist in New Zealand. The role focuses on reviewing and designing SAP FI-CA/PSCD configurations, supporting payment allocation, receipting and posting across SAP S/4HANA and related systems.

You will drive end-to-end financial processes, API integrations, testing and documentation to enable scalable, compliant operations. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver value to customers and partners while advancing

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP FI-CA/PSCD, FI/CO and receivables processes.
• Ability to review payment allocation, receipting, clearing and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of merchant configurations, refunds, reversals and chargebacks.
• Understanding of SAP CRM integrations and future-state considerations.

Responsibilities

• Review existing SAP FI-CA/PSCD, FI/CO and receivables processes.
• Assess current payment allocation, receipting, clearing and reconciliation capabilities.
• Identify impacts to merchant configurations, payment methods, refunds, reversals and chargeback processes.
• Evaluate SAP CRM dependencies and future-state integration considerations.
• Configure SAP FI-CA/PSCD payment allocation, clearing and receipting processes.
• Configure SAP FI/CO accounting, settlement and bank statement processing.
• Implement payment processing controls, exception handling and financial posting requirements.
• Produce functional specifications, configuration documentation and reusable solution patterns.
• Support API integrations between SAP S/4HANA, payment providers and middleware platforms.
• Validate payment references, transaction statuses and financial posting outcomes.
• Assist with integration testing, UAT and defect resolution.
• Support end-to-end payment and receipting processes across integrated systems.
• Create and maintain Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
• Update configuration workbooks and process documentation.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with internal SAP teams.
• Provide audit-ready configuration and change documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Configuration Review & Gap Analysis

• Review existing SAP FI-CA/PSCD, FI/CO and receivables processes.
• Assess current payment allocation, receipting, clearing and reconciliation capabilities.
