Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Scaled agile delivery leadership: Proven experience leading engineering delivery in Scaled Agile environments, including Spotify-based operating models, squad/chapter structures, and distributed delivery across multi-location teams.
• Technology and architecture expertise: Strong technical understanding across microservices, quality engineering, web platforms, AI-enabled solutions, enterprise architecture, and technology strategy, with the ability to provide architectural direction and governance oversight.
• Executive stakeholder and client-facing leadership: Demonstrated ability to engage and manage senior client stakeholders, including CDO, technology leadership forums; translate engineering priorities into business outcomes; manage expectations; and represent delivery with credibility in governance and executive-level discussions.
• Offshore delivery management and people mentorship: Deep understanding of ways of working, offshore delivery models, and global delivery governance, combined with a strong mentoring mindset to uplift engineering capability, technical leadership, and team maturity. Proven experience working with offshore and distributed delivery teams, including coordination across multiple time zones, governance management, and driving delivery outcomes through a global delivery model.
• Engineering transformation: Experience leading engineering transformation initiatives, modernising ways of working, improving delivery maturity, and aligning technology execution with business objectives.

Success Measures:

• Engineering delivery predictability: Improved consistency in delivery commitments, sprint outcomes, release quality, and dependency management across distributed squads and chapters.
• Executive stakeholder confidence: Strong feedback from CDO, senior technology stakeholders on engineering governance, transparency, responsiveness, and alignment to business priorities.
• Architecture and quality governance maturity: Measurable improvement in design governance, technology standards adoption, quality engineering practices, and reduction of recurring technical risks or delivery escalations.
• Transformation outcomes: Successful execution of engineering transformation initiatives, including modernised ways of working, improved agile maturity, stronger platform engineering practices, and better alignment between technology execution and business value.
• Capability uplift and leadership development: Demonstrable improvement in offshore engineering capability, technical leadership depth, mentoring effectiveness, and succession readiness across key engineering roles.
