Job summary

Fonterra Co-operative Group is seeking a super star sales specialist for our Galatea store. You will provide sound farming product advice to loyal customers, participate in merchandising, customer service, and deliveries, and grow your agricultural expertise in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm with rotating Saturdays 9 am to 12 pm. A strong customer focus, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential as you build great relationships with

By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career.

We are looking for a super star sales specialist to join our local Galatea store, you’ll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers. Getting stuck into everything from merchandising, customer service to deliveries, you’ll never be bored in this fast-paced role!

With the opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, there couldn’t be a better place to starts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry.

Full time - Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm , Rotating Saturdays 9 am till12pm.

You’ll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a positive attitude. We’re looking for someone who is confident, reliable, willing to learn, and enjoys building great relationships with customers. You’ll also have a high level of physical fitness.

Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we’re equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry.

Sound like you? Other key things we're looking for include:

• Rural experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to a variety of tasks.
• A Full Driver Licence is preferred.
