Job summary

Fonterra Co-operative Group in Waverley, New Zealand, is seeking a friendly team member for a casual Farm Source store role. You will provide farming product advice and assist with merchandising and customer service to our loyal customers.

Ideal candidates may have customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. Rural experience is beneficial, but not essential; a good level of physical fitness is important as you stay active on the shop floor.

By joining our nationwide Farm Source store team, you’re joining a group of agricultural experts and setting yourself up for an outstanding career.

As the newest addition to our local Waverley store, you’ll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers. Getting stuck into everything from merchandising to customer service, you’ll never be bored in this fast-paced role!

With the opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, there couldn’t be a better place to start.

Please note, this is a casual role.

We’re looking for a flexible team player who’ll enjoy a role that keeps them busy and offers the chance for some great farming banter with our friendly customers.

Ideally, you’ll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry. That said, we’re equally open to those looking to make a move straight off farm or who are current customer experts keen to learn all about the ag/dairy industry.

Sound like you, other key things we’re on the lookout for includes:

• Rural experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
• A good level of physical fitness – you’ll have no trouble getting your daily steps in!
