DMCG Global is seeking a proactive media salesperson to own and grow agency and direct client relationships in the OOH/DOOH space. You will drive new revenue by identifying opportunities, pitching ideas and closing deals with a hunter mindset, rather than merely managing an existing book.
You will engage with media agencies, planners and buyers, build strategic account plans, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns that meet client objectives and revenue targets.
We are on working on a really interesting media sales opportunity with a fast-growing business operating at the intersection of digital out-of-home, technology and EV infrastructure.
They’ve built a rapidly expanding network of premium digital screens across high-traffic locations, giving brands the opportunity to reach consumers throughout their daily journeys. The business already operates internationally across Australia, New Zealand, North America and the UK, and is continuing to scale.
For this role, though, I’m really looking for a proper media salesperson.
Someone who knows the agency landscape, understands OOH / DOOH, enjoys getting in front of clients and, importantly, has a genuine hunter mindset.
This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to inherit a book of accounts and service them.
You’ll be expected to grow existing relationships, but also spot opportunities, open doors, pitch new ideas and ultimately bring revenue in.
You’ll own and grow a portfolio of agency and direct client relationships, while actively developing new revenue opportunities across the market.
Ideally, you’ll already have experience across media sales, OOH, DOOH, adtech or a closely related media environment.
More importantly, you’ll be someone who:
A key attribute is energy and mentality.
We are looking for someone who likes being in market, likes chasing opportunities, likes meeting people and gets a genuine buzz out of turning a conversation into revenue.
You don’t necessarily need to tick every box, but you do need to be commercially hungry and understand that this is fundamentally a sales role.
