Job summary

Riverside Silvermoon invites applications for enthusiastic, customer-driven part-time sales team members in Christchurch. You will welcome customers, support sales goals, and contribute to an engaging shopping experience at our jewelry store.

Friendly, reliable individuals with an eye for detail, comfort with POS systems, and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays on a roster are encouraged to apply. A background in retail or jewelry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or jewelry sales preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy shop.
• Comfort with using a computer POS system and sales platforms.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with product selections.
• Support sales targets and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation.

The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience with a proven history of sales excellence, as well as the ability to:

Have a strong customer and sales focus with a friendly approach, understanding the importance of customer experience

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with local and international customers

Work well and strive to succeed both individually and as part of a team

Be punctual, personable, and enthusiastic

Show initiative with a willingness to learn

Have the flexibility to work weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis

Have an eye for detail with the ability to multitask

Be confident with visual merchandising and using a computer point-of-sale system

Maintain high standards of personal presentation
