Job summary

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones and emails promptly and professionally
• Help customers with product questions, quotes, orders and follow-ups
• Support general sales administration and keep customer records tidy
• Be a reliable first point of contact for the business
• Plan and send regular weekly communications - mostly email, but some social stuff
• Create and promote product based coms on a consistent weekly rhythm
• Keep a simple marketing calendar so activity happens on time, and the rest of us know whats gong on
• Write clear, commercial copy, we dont do corporate speak, we do do humour and fun stuff
• Maintain and improve our BigCommerce website: products, prices, images, categories and promotions
• Keep product information accurate and up to date

About you

• A practical all-rounder with a marketing bent and a good personality
• A sense of humour
• Comfortable on the phone and in person and happy dealing with customers
• Organised enough to run a weekly comms and specials rhythm without being chased
• Competent with email marketing tools, and spreadsheets
• Experience with an e-commerce platform - BigCommerce is a plus; Shopify or similar is transferable
• Typically 2-6 years in a small or mid-sized environment
• The ability to play nice with others and work within a team environment is paramount
