PGG Wrightson is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Oamaru Rural Supplies team. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure a high standard of customer service and efficient store operations in the local rural sector.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proven sales ability and supervisory experience, with knowledge of the local rural sector.
• A sound understanding of dairy, arable, sheep and beef farming practices.
• Experience in computer administration, retail operations and inventory management.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to support and motivate a team.
• A drive to succeed in a competitive environment and grow market share.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth through superior technical advice and exceptional in-store service.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience and resolve client queries promptly.
• Support the Store Manager with administrative and operational tasks.
• Manage the store in the Store Manager's absence, acting as the first point of contact for clients and team members.
