Job summary

Farmlands Christchurch is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our store team and drive performance on key metrics. You will foster a strong store culture, build relationships with shareholders, and ensure customer service excellence.

The role requires experience leading retail teams, strong commercial acumen, knowledge of rural products, and a hands-on approach on the shop floor. Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand and be prepared for pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading successful teams in a retail environment.
• Ability to build solid client relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Sound knowledge of rural products and services.
• Experience coaching team members and training them on best practices.
• Strong commercial business acumen and knowledge of financial ledgers.
• Solid computer skills and up-to-date technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing team, helping them achieve results and foster a great culture.
• Build a strong community environment within the store and strong relationships with shareholders.
• Deliver on agreed objectives and KPIs plus seek continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets, P&L and financials.
• Be a presence on the shop floor, serve customers and coach team members.
