We are seeking a temporary full-time Roving Reliever to provide efficient, effective and timely administration support across services at Palmerston North Hospital while the substantive employee is on secondment. Salary range: $67,943 – $77,141

As a Roving Reliever, you will provide flexible administration support across clinical and non-clinical services within Palmerston North Hospital. Working alongside administration, nursing, medical and support teams, you will help ensure services operate efficiently and that patients are booked and treated within agreed timeframes.

Hours of work: Full-time, up to 8 hours per day between 7.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional evening hours may be required.

The Roving Reliever team provides vital administration support across a range of hospital departments. As part of the wider Business Performance and Support Services team, you will play an important role in ensuring patients receive timely access to care and administrative processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua – MidCentral is a 350-bed hospital in the city of Palmerston North, Manawatū, a city in the Lower North Island of New Zealand. Palmerston North Hospital is a secondary hospital and offers most medical and surgical specialties with the exception of Cardiothoracic, Plastic and Neurosurgery. The hospital serves a local population of 180,000 but is the base for a regional head and neck oncology service which has responsibility for a population of 550,000 and draws patients from Whanganui, Taranaki, and Hawke's Bay.
