Job summary

OneStaff in New Zealand seeks an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead a motivated team and deliver projects to a high standard. This hands-on leadership role combines roofing expertise with people management to ensure safe, efficient, and quality workmanship on residential and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will mentor apprentices, liaise with clients and suppliers, and uphold Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven roofing experience with strong technical knowledge.
• Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varied conditions.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and MOJ checks.
• NZ residency or valid work visa required.

• Lead roofing projects - manage labour, materials, and schedules to meet deadlines.
• Supervise and support full roof replacements, installations, repairs, cleaning, and spraying.
• Mentor apprentices and roofers, fostering a positive and high-performing crew.
• Be the key point of contact with clients, site managers, and suppliers.
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times.
• Provide weekly project updates and maintain accurate records of progress.

• Monday-Friday full-time (occasional Saturdays if required)
