Job summary

Downer is seeking an experienced Roadmarking Operator to join our team. The successful candidate can be based in Christchurch, Nelson, or Blenheim, delivering road marking activities to support quality maintenance and new works contracts.

You will operate A/B type marking machines, collaborate with a dedicated team, and uphold safety, QA, and environmental standards while maintaining plant and equipment.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 Drivers Licence required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; IT skills are advantageous.
• 2+ years roadmarking experience desirable.
• Self-motivated and able to work within a small team.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a skilled team to execute projects efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure all plant under your control is presented, maintained and operated safely and in compliance with QA and environmental requirements.
• Advise and assist with programming of plant repairs and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for you and colleagues.
