Job summary

Downer is seeking a Driver Operator for our New Plymouth team, within the NPIP collaboration between the New Plymouth District Council and Downer. The role focuses on operating heavy machinery across civil and road projects, delivering quality results with a strong emphasis on safety.

Based in New Plymouth, you will support a range of construction, renewal and maintenance tasks alongside a dedicated team. You will operate excavators, rollers and trucks, and occasionally use hand tools to get the

We are looking for a Driver Operator to join our team based in New Plymouth. This exciting opportunity sits within the NPIP (New Plymouth Infrastructure Partnership) which is a collaborative venture between the New Plymouth District Council and Downer.

Your expertise will be utilised across various situations across diverse range of construction, renewal and maintenance projects. You will be working alongside our dedicated team to operate machinery including excavators, rollers, and trucks but will also from time to time need to use hand tools to get the job done.
