Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking hands-on asphalt and civil crew members for upcoming roading projects. The role is outdoors, physically demanding, and requires you to work as part of a team with a focus on safety.

You’ll handle asphalt preparation, finishing, and site prep, with opportunities for ongoing work and potential permanent roles based on performance and availability. Prior asphalt or civil experience is preferred, and a current NZ driver licence is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous asphalt or civil experience preferred.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Able to follow instructions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Asphalt preparation, laying and finishing.
• Raking and shovelling asphalt.
• General labouring and site preparation.
• Assisting operators and asphalt crews.
• Traffic management and site clean-up.
• Working safely as part of a team.
