Job summary

Remarkable People is seeking experienced Asphalt Labourers to join a friendly crew on roading and civil construction sites across Wellington and the surrounding areas.

This hands-on role offers steady, ongoing work with competitive hourly rates, varied projects, and a supportive team focused on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 months of asphalt experience, are physically fit, can pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test, and have a clean MOJ record.

Qualifications

• Proven asphalt experience (minimum 3–6 months).
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in all weather.
• Clean MOJ and able to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on asphalt labour on roading and civil construction sites.
• Assist with site preparation, cleanup and general duties as required.
