Fulton Hogan Ltd Napier is seeking a Surfacing Department Manager to lead the surfacing programme in Hawke’s Bay. You’ll oversee planning, delivery, safety, quality and financial performance, guiding a capable team and external partners to keep works moving on time and to a high standard.

This role requires a Civil Engineering qualification, a Class 1 licence, 5+ years in civil construction with 2+ years in a leadership role, and strong commercial acumen to manage pricing and resources.

• Solid understanding of surfacing operations, plant and materials.
• Minimum 5 years in civil construction with 2 years in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead Surfacing Department with health and safety expectations and a safety-first mindset.
• Plan, programme and deliver surfacing works for key clients and external customers across Hawke’s Bay.
• Coordinate site crews, plant, materials and subcontractors to keep work moving safely on time and to a high standard.
• Oversee project planning, resource coordination, reporting, claims and programme performance.
• Build a team culture that backs people and delivers good work first time.
