Job summary

Bargain Chemist in Dunedin is seeking a dedicated Retail Manager to lead our South Dunedin store. You will steer daily operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will manage and develop the retail team, optimize inventory and budgets, and implement strategies to improve store performance. Flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required as part of this role.

Qualifications

• An experienced supervisor or manager with a retail background.
• An effective leader with strong team management skills.
• A communicator with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in retail management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• An analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store retail operations and performance.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve targets and KPI’s.
• Manage budgets, payroll, rosters and inventory levels.
• Responsible for hiring, rostering, training and developing staff.
