Job description

The Role

As Retail Manager, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the day-to-day performance, people and customer experience across a significant area of the store.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a large team, including Team Leaders and Supervisors
• Overseeing front-end and customer service operations
• Driving sales, KPIs and commercial performance
• Using data and reporting to identify opportunities and improve results
• Setting high standards across customer experience, presentation, stock, compliance and safety
• Building a high-performance culture and managing performance effectively
• Supporting the Store Manager with wider store operations and business objectives

About You

You’re an experienced retail leader who is confident operating in a large-format or high-volume environment and taking ownership of a significant area of a store.

You’ll be:

• Commercially minded and confident working with KPIs and data
• A strong people leader who can coach, motivate and develop others
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
• Organised, resilient and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Confident providing feedback and managing performance
• Hands-on, operationally strong and focused on achieving results
• Someone who takes pride in high standards and creating a great customer experience

Package

• $85,000–$100,000 based on experience + KiwiSaver
• Discounted Southern Cross

• 45 hours per week, Sunday–Thursday
