Placements24 is recruiting a Retail Floor Supervisor for a Queenstown store. The role focuses on overseeing daily operations, guiding sales staff, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

You will support the Store Manager, uphold service standards, and contribute to sales targets while mentoring new team members in a fast-paced retail environment in New Zealand. The position offers training and staff discounts.

Formación

• Previous retail experience with supervisory or team lead experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, inventory, and merchandising.
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proactive and problem-solving approach to daily challenges.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for retail and customer satisfaction.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and direct the activities of sales associates on the retail floor.
• Ensure excellent customer service standards are met and exceeded by the team.
• Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and resolving issues effectively.
• Manage floor coverage and ensure adequate staffing levels during operating hours.
• Oversee the maintenance of store appearance, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.
• Process sales transactions and manage cash handling procedures accurately.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and monitoring stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales and operational targets for the Queenstown store.
• Train and mentor new floor staff on product knowledge and customer service protocols.
