Job summary

Caroline Eve is seeking a permanent part-time Retail Assistant for Papamoa. You will join a New Zealand owned womenswear brand focused on exceptional service, teamwork and helping customers feel confident and inspired.

You will work 7 hours per week, mainly Saturdays and Sundays, with flexibility to cover other days as required at Papamoa and Te Puke stores. Training and clothing benefits are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and personal selling.

• Physically capable to stand for extended periods and lift stock when needed.

The Role

We are seeking a permanent part-time Retail Assistant who thrives in a hands-on, customer-focused environment. This role works 7 hours per week, every Saturday from 1.30-6 and Sunday 11.30-2. Flexibility is key here as this role also covers while other team members are on leave at our Papamoa and Te Puke stores, so we may need you to work on other days and hours as needed.

This role in store will:

• Build authentic relationships with customers
• Drive store sales performance through confident selling
• Deliver memorable service every time
• Support visual merchandising, store presentation and uphold operational standards
• Work on POS including sales and stock movements
• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team culture
• Work set rostered days and hours (including weekends and public holidays)
• Provide additional cover for team members during leave

Working in retail requires flexibility, and reliability is essential. We support this with an agreed long-term roster that is planned in advance.

• Confidence to engage and connect with a wide range of customers
• Experienced in retail or hospitality or customer service, however we accept all backgrounds and experiences
• Physically capable to stand for extended periods and manage stock (lifting, unpacking, replenishing)
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
• A team mindset, we work in small stores, everyone does everything
