Job summary

Caroline Eve is seeking a Store Manager for our Cambridge store. This hands-on, customer-focused role guides daily operations, team performance, and exceptional service. The 37.5-hour week runs Monday to Friday, with rostered days and some coverage during leave.

You will drive sales, model outstanding customer service, and support merchandising while upholding brand standards in a vibrant, women-led NZ company.

Qualifications

• Experienced in retail management, but all backgrounds and experiences are welcome.
• Strong commitment to outstanding customer service and personal selling.
• Physically capable to stand for extended periods and handle stock.
• Team-minded, in small stores where everyone does everything.
• Flexible with rostering and long-term scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Build authentic relationships with customers and drive loyalty.
• Drive store sales through confident selling and in-store service.
• Deliver memorable customer experiences at every interaction.

The Role

We are seeking a permanent Store Manager who thrives in a hands-on, customer-focused environment. The hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9-5.

At our stores, selling clothes is one part of the equation. Our favourite part is that we give real service that helps our customers feel confident, comfortable, and seen. This role in store will:

• Build authentic relationships with customers
• Drive store sales performance through confident selling
• Deliver memorable service every time
• Support visual merchandising, store presentation and uphold operational standards
• Work on POS including sales and stock movements
• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team culture
• Work set rostered days and hours
• Provide additional cover for team members during leave

Working in retail requires flexibility, and reliability is essential. We support this with an agreed long-term roster that is planned in advance.
