Job summary

Caroline Eve in Hastings is seeking a permanent part-time Retail Assistant who thrives in a hands-on, customer-focused environment. The role covers 16.5 hours per week with set rostered days: Monday 11-3:30, Tuesday and Wednesday 10-2, and Saturday 10:30-2:30, with flexibility to cover leave and public holidays including Taradale store.

You will build authentic relationships, drive store sales through confident selling, and provide memorable service.

Retail Assistant - Hastings

We are seeking a permanent part-time Retail Assistant who thrives in a hands-on, customer-focused environment. This role works 16.5 hours per week, every Monday from 11-3.30, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10-2 and Saturday 10.30 2.30. Flexibility is key here as this role also covers while other team members are on leave, so we may need you to work on other days and hours as needed including Saturdays and public holidays. This includes being about to cover at our Taradale store.

• Working in retail requires flexibility, and reliability is essential. We support this with an agreed long-term roster that is planned in advance.

• Passionate about fashion and helping others feel and look their best
• Confidence to engage and connect with a wide range of customers
• Experienced in retail or hospitality or customer service, however we accept all backgrounds and experiences
• Physically capable to stand for extended periods and manage stock (lifting, unpacking, replenishing)
• Energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
• A team mindset, we work in small stores, everyone does everything
