Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking full-time assistants to pick online orders in a busy shop environment. You’ll be on your feet most of the shift, work across Grocery and Checkouts, and follow our proven process to meet deadlines. Training will be provided, and experience with online ordering is a plus. All applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.

This role offers 30-37.5 hours per week with some flex to cover absences and changing customer needs.

The successful applicant will be mainly picking online orders. This is a busy, deadline driven position where you need to be able to think on your feet, have great customer service skills and be able to work quickly to achieve our deadlines.

Ideally, you will already have a good product knowledge of the range of items we sell and be able to quickly learn and understand our process for fulfilling orders - yes, we have a few tricks up our sleeve to speed up this process so being able to follow our game plan is the key.

You will need to be accurate to complete orders in a given timeframe and to meet our customer expectations,encouraging customers to use our online service again and again.
