Job summary

STUDYPLUS CONSULTANTS LIMITED in Taupo is hiring a Retail Assistant for our Four Square store. You will deliver friendly customer service, handle checkout duties, and help keep the store clean, organized and well presented.

The role is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week, offering a supportive team environment and opportunities to develop retail and customer service skills. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service.

• Replenish, rotate and organise stock.
• Check product dates and maintain stock levels.
• Receive, unpack and organise deliveries.
• Keep shelves and store areas clean and well-presented.
• Assist with pricing, ticketing and promotions.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and safety standards.
• Perform other store duties as required.

About the Role

R & S 2020 Limited is seeking a reliable Retail Assistant to join our Four Square store in Taupō.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with day-to-day store operations and ensuring the store is clean, organised and well presented.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Operating the checkout and processing cash and EFTPOS transactions
• Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases
• Replenishing, rotating and organising stock
• Checking product dates and maintaining appropriate stock levels
• Receiving, unpacking and organising deliveries
• Maintaining clean, tidy and well-presented shelves and store areas
• Assisting with pricing, ticketing and promotional displays
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards
• Assisting with general store duties as required
