Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island in Queenstown is recruiting 30 retail team members after a major store renovation. Roles are full-time, 40 hours weekly, with 1–2 weekend shifts, at NZ$24.50–$25.50 per hour.

You will help customers, stock shelves, wrap and package goods, and process payments via our POS. Must be able to lift 15 kg and work well in a team. Sponsorship requires 2 years' experience or NZQCF level 4+.

We are looking for 30 retail superstars to join our team. We have just completed a major store renovation and are looking for new team members to join our expanding business.

We are located in beautiful Queenstown at 1/12 Hawthorne Drive, Remarkables Park, Queenstown, 9300.

Pay rate range for these positions is $24.50-$25.50per hour.

Roles are all 40 hours per week. Roles all work 1-2 weekend day but hours vary for each role as we operate staff 24hours.

This role relates to ANZSCO 6211 Sales Assistant.

Key tasks, duties and responsibilities:

• Helping customers to find products in the store and answering their questions


• Stacking and displaying goods for sale


• Wrapping, preparing and packaging goods for sale


• Serving customers and accepting payment for goods via our point of sale system


• Assisting with the ongoing management of stock such as participating in stocktakes
