Job summary

Shosha NZ is a growing retail store network specializing in Vape Gears and related products. We are seeking a Retail Assistant to provide excellent customer service and support daily store operations across our busy shop floor.

You will handle customer queries, assist in product selection, and help with stock control and order packing. Weekend availability and a positive, energetic approach are essential to thrive in this role.

• Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide all customers with excellent customer service.
• Complete daily store operations.
• Deal with customer queries and issues.
• Keep up to date with the latest products to help customers choose the right item.
• Assist with packing online orders when requested.
• Maintain daily stock takes and keep the store clean.
• Support the Manager with daily tasks.
• Ensure sales and inventories are accurately recorded.

In this role you will:

• Be providing all customers with excellent customer service.
• Completing all daily store operations.
• Dealing with customer queries and issues.
• Keeping up to date with the latest technology to assist customers to find the right product for them.
• Packing online orders on request.
• Maintain Daily Stocktake Procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the store.
• Assist the Manager with the daily operational tasks.
• Ensure the store sales and inventories all correctly accounted for.

In order to be considered for this role you will need:

• To have well-developed communication and listening skills.
• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Must work on the weekends and according to the roster.
• Reliable and enthusiastic.

You will be required to work at least one full weekend day; this will be part of the roster. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to one weekend day.
